With decades of experience in both corporate leadership and educational development, he brings a unique combination of strategic vision, operational expertise, and social commitment. His work is marked by a deep understanding of systems and a passion for building institutions that deliver long-term value to society.
As the founder of the Asotika Centre for Educational Research, he has been at the forefront of several transformative initiatives aimed at improving the quality of school education in India. Under his leadership, Asotika has become a trusted partner to some of the country’s most respected learning organizations, including S Chand & Sons, NIIT, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KV), and the Sri Chaitanya Group. These collaborations span a range of domains—from teacher development and curriculum reform to digital education and learning assessment.
His areas of expertise include policy research, program planning, implementation, and impact analysis in the field of school education. He is actively engaged with government bodies and educational institutions, contributing to the development of strategic roadmaps, policy documents, and pilot programs aimed at systemic reform. Through Asotika, he has played an instrumental role in bridging the gap between policy formulation and on-ground execution, ensuring that reforms are both practical and scalable.
Through Asotika, he continues to champion initiatives that align educational systems with the needs of today’s learners and tomorrow’s challenges. Dr.Priyanka Sharma

Director, Research and Assessments, ACER India
She is a research scientist and education leader with a deep passion for building outcome- and evidence-driven learning systems. As Co-founder and Chief Advisor at Asotika Centre for Educational Research, she plays a key role in shaping the organization’s strategic vision and initiatives. Currently, she is leading systemic education reforms across South Asian countries in her role as Director, Research and Assessments at ACER India.
With over 25 years of experience in education policy and practice, she brings a rich understanding of how students learn and what they learn. Her professional journey includes roles as a STEM educator, teacher educator, test developer, psychometrician, and research leader across government bodies, non-governmental organizations, and global learning companies.
She has served as Senior Research Advisor at the National Testing Agency (NTA), Ministry of Education, Government of India, where she championed research-based improvements in high-stakes examinations. She was also a Research Officer at the Centre for Assessment, Evaluation and Research (CAER)—a public-private partnership between CBSE and the Pearson Foundation—where she led several policy-relevant studies.
Her experience spans respected institutions such as the Azim Premji Foundation, COE-India under Pearson Assessment Centre (USA), and Khan Academy, consistently contributing to the development of fair, robust, and learner-centric assessment systems.
